Glad I tried the sample pack; I immediately fell in love with (and ordered more) Shine and Define and Whipped Pudding(insert choir singing), and the Greg Juice worked fabulously with them both. I have yet to figure out if I can use the conditioner (works as a leave in, not as a cowash)since the bottle was so small (too much hair :p).

WOW is al I can say....I recieved my sample package in only one week which is faster then what I expected I love the smell that each product has...if you don't like strong smells I can understand why some people would have a problem with Greg Juice. I am looking forward to using the products....

I loved this! the products smell great, I really liked the whipped pudding and I look forward to using the shine and define product for my braidouts. The sampler is great because it gives an opportunity to find what you like sans the committment....

The juice is wonderful for moisture without sticky, greasy, or gummy residue--the scent wasn't my fave, so I now use the Juices and Berries (that is PERFECT!!). The whipped pudding is very nice for all over moisture and twists. I only use the shine and define to set my edges, and it works well for that. Was not impressed with the conditioner--I have heard some people use it as a leave in and like it that way...Overall, this set is a great intro to Oyin at a very reasonable price.

I love this set. I just recieved my sampler two days ago and am already hooked. I really don't know where to begin with praises for your products. I washed my hair with the grand poo bar (to take out other product buildup) and was amazed that it did not strip my hair. I then conditioned with the honey hemp conditioner. Then I used the greg juice followed by the whipped pudding and the shine & define serum. I loved how soft my hair was after it dried! Usually when I wash my hair I have to put product in 3-4 times before its back to my normal level of moisture. I was amazed that after only one use of the product my hair was soft and completely moisturized. Plus I love that even with my \layering\" there was no product buildup. And I thinks its wonderful that I can actually read the ingredients on the label"

I Love these products. It took a long time for shipping but it was worth the wait. The whipped pudding is the best. I haven't used the shine and define but it looks good. The greg juice made my hair so soft.conditioner made it easy to comb through my hair. I have 5a type kinky hair and when I say it made a difference it MADE a difference. Now I only wish I can make that whipped pudding on my own lol.

Well I regret to say that I absolutely hated this product, along with all the other products that I ordered. I patiently waited three weeks for my order and was quite disappointed when I received it. The scents were repulsive. I tried so hard to like buy couldn't. I had heard and read so many good things about Oyin Handmade products and just couldn't understand why I couldn't stomach it.

The sample pack was a great purchase, because it introduced me to the products without having to buy the full size. They are fabulous! I used them all and my hair never looked and felt so great. As a new mother who is nursing, I was looking for products that had no harsh chemicals, such as parabens and perfume. I love that these products are safe AND work effectively. My hair is extremely thick and I air dry it whenever I wash it. I definitely need to order the larger sizes cause I've found no product to match an oyin product.

I've been wanting to find something more natural for my hair recently, and wandered across the Oyin website not too long ago. I just used my sample pack for the first time this morning and I already love this stuff! I almost wanted to eat my hair while I was using the conditioner and shine and define. It left my hair feeling so soft and light, instead of crunchy and greasy. And it curled so nice. Something that's been lacking with all the gunk I've used before. I've got to get the bigger sizes. The Greg Juice didn't seem to do very much, but the other things are definitely winners!

I was not impressed with the products. The honey hemp conditioner does work well but to me it works the same as any all natural conditioner you find at a health food store. The shine and define and Whipped Pudding was too thick for my hair and did nothing but sit on it and leave a white residue. I dont' know maybe i didn't use it correctly. As for the Greg juice, i've read such rave reviews but it did nothing more but wet my hair to me. I get better results with Condioner and water in a spray bottle. All and all i think i will stick to homemade products and save my money. Sorry i really wanted to like this stuff but if i absolutely need to purchase something offline i will get it from Qhemet Biologics, i get great moisture with that!

The whipped pudding is excellent, the shine and define is divine, the greg juice is out of this world, and the honey hemp conditioner made my hair feel like pure silk!! I have definitely found my miracle products. I received the sample pack in the mail yesterday and I just HAD to try it immediately. The Greg Juice has the absolute BEST smell! Oh my goodness! My husband loves the smell of the whipped pudding. My hair is soft and shiny and not weighed down. I can't wait to try the HH Conditioner and the Shine & Define. But I'm not worried though....I know that they will be just as wonderful as the other two. Thanks for producing such amazing products.

I am transitioning from an error in judgement. I'm going back to my natural hair. I kind of had my doubts about these products but I'm certainly glad that you have sample sizes. Generous sample sizes, I might add. It's a shame that I didn't search for products before. I have fine 4a/b hair. Your products are moisturizing enough to use on their own yet not too heavy. I think I'm most addicted to Greg Juice and the whipped pudding. I'm going througn my transition by straw setting and I have the most incredible ringlets after using the products. Honey Hemp Conditioner for my pre-poo. Greg Juice whenever I want. Shine & Define as the setting lotion. Whipped pudding in my hair, on feet, on elbows. I just place an order for the stock up kit and the bath kit. The only downside is the wait time. I've found my staples!!!!

The option of the sampler pack was what drew to becoming a regular user of the Oyin products. It was a good marketing strategy and I like the sizes for travel also.

I am a true PJ. Always looking for the right gel/moisturizer for my curls/waves. I found it!! The honeyhemp condit, softened my hair for easy detangling. the greg juice is the bomb. I have extremely thick hair and it is the only spray that detangled, moisturized and added definition. Add a little whipped pudding and brushed with my denman; it laid down and curled up. I couldn't believe it! So I put the S&D on top; Oh My Goodness. Can I say beautiful waves at root and gorgeous curly ends. I almost started crying. My PJ days are over. Thank you Oyinhandmade!

This hair care sampler is wonderful. Although, I haven't used the products on my hair, they did wonders for my man's very course hair. I was a little hesitant that the honey hemp conditioner would leave buildup in his locks, but after about a half hour of it sitting in, it worked as a wonderful treatment. I used it in this order: Washed hair first, after I conditioned with honey hemp, after washing that out, I used the greg juice as a leave in - then twisted with the burnt sugar pomade. And I was sniffing his hair for days :-) Although, the shine and define didn't really do anything, everything else was great. \

I heard about this product line from www.nappturality.com! I love it. I have used her products for such a long time! I LOVE them! There's nothing like whipped pudding! It softens my hair like nothing else,and just smells like a whiff of heaven! I am totally in love w/ the hemp conditioner too! This is the only conditioner that softens up my hair for days and I love it as a leave in! Now I haven't used the greg juice or the shine/define in quite some time, but I am sure that it will be just as awesome as everything else! I CAN'T WAIT to get my order! I think this is a WONDERFUL way to give your customers a taste of your products without having to worry about spending a bunch of money on products that they may not like. I, however, am hooked! I LOVE the scents. I've been looking for quality, natural products (that are also reasonably priced)to use on my locs. Ever since I used my sample pack this weekend, my husband has been threatening to eat my hair because it smells so good. Shoot, I'm even tempted to eat my hair. This is a great sample package and is definately worth purchasing the larger sizes. My locs feel great and smell awesome! The honey hemp smells like heaven and the Greg Juice is simply *dare I say* THE BOMB! I subsituted the whipped pudding for the burnt sugar pomade and use the pudding on my face along with the black soap.

I have been transitioning to a natural state of hair for 8 months now. I am currently pregnant and my new growth is coming in extremely fast. I was having a very difficult time finding products that would not tangle my hair and that would provide enough moisture until I feel ready to chop off the relaxed ends. My hair, even when it was completely relaxed tangles very easy. Shampoos such as creme of nature and others tangle my hair really badly. I was about to give up hope and I seriously considered going back to the creamy crack after I had two really bad experiences with a wash and comb-out. So much hair ended up in the comb and my hair was left a tangled rat's nest. I was about to give up hope until I got in my 4 piece hair care sampler and my grand poo bar. I used the grand poo bar and the honey wash and I also used the hemp conditioner and some greg juice. My hair has never felt or looked this good before in my life!!!! My hair did not tangle at all and the comb-out was so simple that I was even able to blow dry my hair and flat iron it!!!!I am so impressed. This was my first purchase of Oyin, and I have to say WOW!!! I love this stuff. My hair has never been so soft and moisturized. And it smells so GOOD. I have never been a big fan of the smell of cocoa butter, but the smell from the whipped pudding does not overpower the senses. And mixed with the Shine and Define, AWESOME. I used the Grand Poo Bar to wash my locs and the Shine and Define to twist down the ends, and I'm telling you, these products are wonderful!! I have been looking for something to use on my locs that would not be heavy for them, and since using the Grand Poo Bar and the Shine and Define, my hair has a much fuller look. I don't know if the product was designed for that, but my husband even noticed. Again, wonderful products!!!

I went straight to my friend's store when I picked this up from the post office. I stood their in the aisle at payless and ripped the box open with my keys. I needed her to understand the wonderfulness (if that's a word) of OYIN. You guys are amazing. I know the greg juice will only last a week. I've used it more than a few times since last night. I've never written a product review for anything before, but was compelled to review these because the effects were so dramatic.I have a head full of beautiful kinks and tiny springy coils that are acutely susceptible to dryness. My hair has never felt as soft, healthy, and moisturized (without being greasy) as it did when I used these products. I used the greg juice along with the shine and define serum on soaking wet hair and after drying, my hair still felt supersoft and moisturized. I used te whipped puddin on dry hair to maintain moisture and preserve that softness, and it worked beautifully as well. I'm so glad I've finally found affordable products that work so well, and smell so delicious! I love Oyin!
