This was my first experience using a shampoo bar, and I must say that it was magical! I followed the Grand Mixtress' advice on cutting the bar into sections (mainly to stretch it so the remaining bar won't get wet) and rubbed it on my short, natural TWA. There wasn't much lather or bubbles, but I could see the poo on my hair. After rinsing, my hair was so soft and easy to detangle. In fact, my wide tooth comb literally slid right down my 4b hair. The smell is very pleasant and soothing, kinda like an expensive spa experience right in your own home. Next time I will order the Uber bar so that I make sure to never run out!!

Does not strip my dry 4b hair at all. I can actually wash put on some product and truct that my hair won't be dry and brittle when it dries. The best shampoo of all the ones I've tried.

I was really surprised how well the Poo Bar cleaned my locs. There was little lather, but this was the first time ever that scalp and roots were squeaky clean without being brittle or dry. My head and I thank you for such a quiet giant now apart of my hair regime!

I wasn't sure I going to like this but it proved me wrong 100%! It lathers great, it has a beautiful smell that goes along with the hemp condish and juice and berries leave-in. It left my hair clean and soft. I didn't even have to use conditioner afterward!

Moisturizing, non-stripping wash. Also works as a great detangler, and I was not expecting that from a bar shampoo. Great herbal smell that isn't overpowering and turns showering into a herbal, therapeutic event!

I love this shampoo bar! I used this last weekend and got a great lather, it smells great and left my hair feeling clean and soft. I ended up cutting the bar into 4ths and I can tell that this bar will last a long time. I can say that I have tossed out all of my other shampoos and will be an exclusive user of the Grand Poo Bar...or maybe next time I will order the Uber one!

Well I regret to say that I absolutely hated this product, along with all the other products that I ordered. I patiently waited three weeks for my order and was quite disappointed when I received it. The scents were repulsive. I tried so hard to like buy couldn't. I had heard and read so many good things about Oyin Handmade products and just couldn't understand why I couldn't stomach it.

I tried the Grand Poo Bar this morning and I was thoroughly impressed. It added \Lux\" to my hair. My hair did not feel like it was stripped of all moisture like it does with regular shampoo. The Grand Poo Bar also brought back more of my natural curl. It looks so nice and feels so soft. I followed up with Honey Hemp Conditioner (I leave it in). The only reason I gave Grand Poo Bar 4 starts instead of 5 stars is because today was my first time using it. I will need to see the affects long term. I'm hoping that it will help my scalp to heal from all the harshness that I have put it through."""

I love the Uber Poo Bar. I used the Grand Poo Bar before and I love that as well. I use the Uber daily and it leaves my hair smelling wonderful and I don't have to replace it as often. I HIGHLY recommend it.

I already like this as a no poo (even though I was skeptical), I just wanted to let you know how glorious this is a face/body soap. My face was uber clean without any dryness whatsoever. I didn't even need as much body lotion after my bath.

This shampoo bar really is great. You have to figure out how to make it work for you, and once you do wow! The first time, I made the mistake of cutting it into fourths! It was a bit hard to use in the shower lol but Afroknots from np told me how to melt it back. But I use the poo bar when I need to clarify. *ALSO* the poo bar is GREAT to use before the head to toe honey wash! I find the latter works better on thoroughly clean hair. I always follow both with honey hemp (as well as the greg juice, shine and define, blah blah) and the moisture is OUTSTANDING!

I was a little nervous before using this - I have fairly long locks and I don't regularly do my hair at home. I followed the instructions and soaked my hair and applied the bar directly to my scalp. I didn't get a big lather and I noticed a slight buildup on the roots and started to worry. After multiple washes I dried my hair and began to twist the new growth. THIS is when I noticed how soft my hair felt and that there were few tangles -- a rarity for me. I spritzed some Greg Juice on my locks while twisting for extra moisture. The finished result is that my hair looks like I just visited the salon. This is a great natural product for use between trips to the hairdresser.

The shampoo bar concept is genius,it lasts twice as long as bottled shampoo which is a money saver for everyone. I don't know if it was just my bar or what but the poo-bar would not lather, no matter how many times i rolled it around in my hands under the running water or rubbed it against my wet hair.

I love this shampoo!!! My hair can get very oily, but also, my scalp can be extremely dry...it's gross... So I started using this shampoo and a shower filter a week ago and my dry scalp is almost completely gone. I'm sure with time it will go away completely. I've been using organic shampoo for years now, but not until this stuff, have I found something that really takes care of my scalp.

I don't have the uber bar; just the regular sized one, but after reading the reviews for the product I just wanted to mention that before anyone can complain about the residue left from a shampoo or body wash, they need to consider that they don't have good water. I just purchased a shower filter and have been using it for 6 days now and the difference is amazing. The filter combined with this shampoo is so nice! I feel like I'm getting the special treatment from a spa or something...\

This was my 1st time using a shampoo bar. I loved the package that it came in, and also the scent. It was extrememly easy to apply and left my hair smelling great and feeling soft. The only set back is that it left a film on my skin.

Okay, I have to be honest...the first time I tried this my hair felt really stripped. However, the NEXT time I used it I really liked the way that my hair felt. I just want to let the people who are not used to using shampoo bars know not to get discouraged after the first try with the poo bar. There are so many additives in traditional shampoos that our hair often feels coated. The poo bar leaves the hair clean and the scalp and hair doesn't feel stripped of moisture after it dries. I love the herbally citrusy smell as well. Great job mixtress!!

Yet another stellar product from the Mixtress! I was a bonafide no poo girl and with the Poo Bar I don't even think of it as shampoo! While my hair is in protective styles, my scalp becomes extremely itchy in different places on my head but now I can rinse my hair and use a little of the poo bar on my scalp and the itchy are gone! And I love the fact that you can cut it into smaller pieces! So I carry a piece in my gym bag, I have some in the shower and still have some left in the tray for later!

I can wash my hair with the poo bar, rinse, air dry and know that my hair is clean and moisturized because the poo bar doesn't strip your hair of its natural oils...not like over the counter shampoos!

Okay, the bar looked a bit funny to me when it first arrived. I mean, wash my hair with a bar of soap? How nutty is that? What's nutty to me now is washing my hair with anything else! This stuff lathers so well, doesn't smell all funny and artificial and leaves my hair amazingly clean. I use it on my daughter's hair too! I'm so glad to have found Oyin.

The Grand Poo bar is excellent for my No- Poo routine, I like the scent and the wonderful lather this product has. It left my natural hair so soft after I rinsed the lather thoroughly, and this was without any added conditioner, and my scalp felt so clean and tingly. Thank you Mistress for mixing up such a great shampoo substitute,and giving us the option of not using harsh shampoos with chemicals in our beautiful hair.
